Who I Serve And How I Can Help

February 17, 2021

For many people, finances are a major cause of stress. It’s hard to find the time and resources to build and manage your wealth confidently. It can be even harder to know how to integrate your family’s values, financial circumstances, and life goals into your financial plan and stay on track for the long term. Thankfully, you don’t need to do it alone. I make it my job to help you build a road map that gets you where you want to go.

Who I Serve

Other than your goals and values, one of the things that influences your road map the most is your job. Depending on your specific career and employer, you will have benefits and opportunities available to you that others don’t. You may also have some extra challenges or decisions to make. That’s why I’ve tailored my practice to serve pre-retiree and recently retired engineers. No matter their income, size of portfolio, or unique life circumstances, they all want a life with peace of mind. They don’t want to lose sleep at night over their finances. And while engineers are known to be savvy problem-solvers with an abundance of expertise and ingenuity, many want to delegate financial management to a trusted professional so they can focus their valuable time and attention on what matters most to them. They don’t want anything to slip through the cracks, and so they rely on me to research their questions and provide solutions for their financial needs. I act as their personal sounding board, running them through different scenarios and presenting the pros and cons of all their options. I am, in essence, the CFO to their CEO. This allows them to make decisions with confidence, decisions that will enhance their lives and get them closer to their ideal future.

How I Can Help

So, that’s the big picture of how I help. But you’re probably wondering about the nuts and bolts of it. When I sit down with my engineer clients, their biggest financial concerns and headaches tend to be retirement-focused: Medicare options, Social Security claiming strategies, distribution planning, and how to maximize their wealth while minimizing the impact of taxes. Together, we address these issues using our client-centered process that ensures that your plan grows and changes with you as you move through life. Our systematic approach simplifies the complexities you may face and sets you up with a plan of action that provides you with confidence. As an engineer, we know you prioritize quality and excellence. We strive to consistently provide services and solutions that bring value to your life and offer a long-term relationship that you can rely on no matter what happens in life.

The truth is, you (and your finances) deserve more than someone who just invests your money for you. You need a comprehensive plan, customized to your goals, dreams, challenges, and values, and that requires a personal touch. It requires someone who will go the extra mile to get to know you and understand your life so you can rest easy, knowing that someone is working tirelessly to help make your life what you want it to be.

Take The First Step

If you’re thinking about your retirement and want to partner with someone who can help you feel ready and excited for the transition, I am here to help. I’d love to help you stop worrying about your financial future by giving you clarity and financial confidence.
